PAPPUS FOUNDING STORY
Three years back, our founder Simone burned from her 9 to 5 job. She felt like giving too much energy and thoughtfulness, getting nothing meaningful in return.
Working with the team from a coworking space, however, she felt inspired and creative. Experiencing the “power of community”, she started researching these shared working environments.
On the lookout for how collaboration can foster innovation, Simone concluded that it’s all about implementing the right community strategy.
As a community builder, strategist and consultant today she brings people back together in collaborative communities – always with the core belief that social synergies make business faster, innovative and sustainable.

MEANING OF “PAPPUS”
‘Pappuses’ are characteristic of plants in the sunflower family (Asteraceae). A well-known example is a dandelion whose pappuses act as parachutes to carry the seeds in the wind. Pictured above are the seeds of the sow thistle, another plant in the sunflower family. Generally, we intended to describe a natural parachute which is bringing the seeds to their belonging place – like our consultants are finding the right organic and sustainable growth strategy for each of our clients.
